Customer / Guest Agreement

By creating a Customer account on PropertyBook, I agree that:

I will provide accurate and truthful account and identity information.
I will use the platform only for lawful bookings and legitimate purposes.
I will treat the property, furniture, equipment and other facilities with reasonable care and will not intentionally damage, misuse or remove property.
I will keep the property and its surroundings clean and will not create unreasonable disturbance, nuisance or inconvenience to neighbours or nearby people.
I will not conduct or participate in illegal activity, violence, dangerous activity or any activity prohibited by law at a booked property.
I will follow the owner's reasonable property rules that were disclosed for the booking and will respect capacity and guest limits.
I understand that customer cancellations, refunds and post-check-in complaints are governed by the platform's applicable cancellation and refund rules.
I understand that the post-check-in complaint window for eligible issues is limited to 6 hours from check-in. A complaint does not automatically guarantee a refund; eligible cases are reviewed under the platform rules.
I understand that the payment processing fee shown at checkout is non-refundable where the platform's refund policy says so.
I accept responsibility for losses, damage or prohibited conduct caused by me or by guests under my booking, subject to applicable law and the platform's procedures.

Property Owner Agreement

By creating a Property Owner account on PropertyBook, I agree that:

PropertyBook is a marketplace that helps property owners list venues and stay properties and helps customers discover and book them.
I will provide accurate property information, photographs, pricing, availability, capacity, facilities and rules, and I will not mislead customers.
I will keep confirmed bookings available and will honour confirmed reservations except where a genuine issue requires cancellation or platform/admin intervention.
PropertyBook charges a 10% platform commission on the property booking amount. The remaining 90% of the property amount is the owner's payout, subject to refunds, penalties, recoveries, holds and other applicable adjustments. The customer's separate payment processing fee is not an additional owner earning.
I will maintain the property in a safe, usable condition and will take reasonable steps to protect customer safety and security.
I will accurately disclose material property conditions, shared occupancy, access restrictions, safety/security information and other facts that could affect a customer's decision or stay.
I understand that customers may raise eligible post-check-in complaints within 6 hours of check-in. Qualifying complaints can be reviewed by PropertyBook/admin and may result in a refund or payout adjustment where appropriate.
I understand that customer cancellations and refunds are governed by the platform's published cancellation/refund rules and that the payment processing fee may be non-refundable.
I understand that owner cancellations are recorded and repeated or excessive cancellations may result in financial penalties, payout/recovery adjustments, account restrictions or suspension/ban under the platform's owner cancellation policy.
I will not discriminate unlawfully, harass customers, permit illegal activity at the property, or knowingly allow unsafe or prohibited conduct.
